OUKITEL P2001 Plus vs EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max: 2048Wh Power Station Comparison

We went through the P2001 Plus vs EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max spec sheets line by line for this guide, and they match on the numbers most shoppers read first: 2,048Wh of LiFePO4 and a 2,400W inverter with a 4,800W surge. So the choice turns on smaller things. The OUKITEL switches to backup faster and costs less, while the EcoFlow takes twice the solar and can grow to 6,144Wh.
Every number below was checked against the US product pages and manuals in early October 2026.
Quick verdict
Same battery, same inverter, same surge. The P2001 Plus wins on price, cycle rating (3,500+ vs 3,000) and EPS switch time (under 10ms vs 20ms). The DELTA 2 Max answers with double the solar input, expansion to 6,144Wh, two more AC outlets and a 5 year warranty against OUKITEL’s 3 years.

Which Power Station Gives You More Runtime?

Neither one runs longer at the same load. Some of the 2,048Wh never reaches the outlet, because the inverter turns a slice of it into heat while converting DC to AC. We use 85% as a working number, which leaves about 1,740Wh. Divide that by your average load in watts and you have hours.
Load
Average draw
Estimated runtime
Router and modem
20W
About 87 hours
Full size refrigerator
60W average
About 29 hours
CPAP, no humidifier
40W
About 43 hours
55 inch LED TV
100W
About 17 hours
Microwave
1,000W
About 1.7 hours
Those are averages, not nameplate ratings. A fridge stamped 150W only runs its compressor part of each hour, which is why it lands near 60W across a full day. Where the two stations split is expansion. Add two extra batteries and the DELTA 2 Max reaches 6,144Wh, about triple every runtime above, while the P2001 Plus stays fixed at 2,048Wh. More batteries mean more hours. Not more watts.

How Do Charging Speed and Solar Input Compare?

Wall Charging Is a Near Tie

Both pull 1,800W from a normal wall outlet. OUKITEL quotes about an hour on AC and EcoFlow quotes about 80 minutes for a full charge, so the difference only matters if a storm warning gives you very little notice.
One small thing we like on the P2001 Plus is the physical input knob, with stops at 400W, 800W, 1,200W and 1,800W. Turn it down when the outlet shares a 15A kitchen circuit with a microwave, or overnight when you would rather not hear the fans.

Solar Is EcoFlow’s Clearest Win

Here the gap is real. EcoFlow accepts 1,000W of panels split over two inputs; OUKITEL accepts 500W on one XT60 port. On a day with four peak sun hours, with panels giving about 75% of their rated output, that is roughly 1,500Wh back into the OUKITEL and about 3,000Wh into the EcoFlow, more than its whole battery.
That second number decides off grid trips longer than a weekend. Real output drifts with sun angle, heat and shade, which the DOE covers in its home solar planning guide.
Check panel voltage first
Keep series strings under 60V open circuit on the P2001 Plus. The XT60 plug will fit a string that is too hot for the controller, so add up each panel’s Voc first.

Which Is Better for Home Backup During an Outage?

Outages have been getting longer. In 2024 the average U.S. customer went about 11 hours without power, the most in ten years, and the U.S. Energy Information Administration puts most of that down to Hurricanes Beryl, Helene and Milton.
Switch time matters for anything that reboots when power blinks, like a modem or a desktop PC. OUKITEL rates the P2001 Plus EPS at under 10ms. EcoFlow’s manual gives 20ms for the DELTA 2 Max and says plainly that it is not a 0ms UPS, so servers and workstations should stay off it.
Size protected loads to 1,400W on the P2001 Plus
Its EPS pass through circuit is rated 1,400W. Plug straight into the battery outputs instead and you get the full 2,400W.
Food sets the other deadline. FoodSafety.gov gives a closed fridge about 4 hours before food is at risk, and a station on EPS keeps it cold from the first second. Unlike gas generators, which the CPSC links to more than 100 carbon monoxide deaths a year, a battery station can sit indoors next to the appliance it powers.
In our experience, one 2kWh pack covers most short, predictable outages. If yours run past a day, look at the expandable DELTA 2 Max or a larger home battery backup setup; our home backup generators guide goes deeper on sizing.

Ports, App Control and Portability

Count AC outlets and EcoFlow comes out ahead, six to four, though every socket on either box draws from the same 2,400W ceiling. Count USB-C and it flips. OUKITEL fits four (one 100W, one 45W, two 20W) where EcoFlow has two at 100W each, the better layout if two laptops charge every night. EcoFlow also has two DC5521 barrel jacks and a 126W car socket for 12V gear.
You can monitor either one from a phone app over WiFi, or over Bluetooth when the router is down with everything else. At 48.5 and 50 lb, both are a short two hand carry, so check the shelf or vehicle space you have in mind before ordering.

Warranty, Price and Long Term Value

EcoFlow gives the DELTA 2 Max 5 years of coverage. OUKITEL’s base term is a single year, stretched to three once you sign up for its subscription. The FTC says a written warranty has to be available to read before you buy, so read it and check who pays shipping on a claim.
Cycle life tilts the other way. OUKITEL rates the P2001 Plus for 3,500+ cycles to 80% capacity against EcoFlow’s 3,000, although at one full cycle a day both last past eight years. When we checked in October 2026, the P2001 Plus was about $300 cheaper. Check the product pages on the day you buy.

Conclusion

Strip away the shared battery and inverter and this comes down to what you expect to add over the next couple of years. If the answer is nothing, buy the OUKITEL P2001 Plus: it switches faster on EPS, carries the higher cycle rating and costs less. If the answer is panels or more batteries, the DELTA 2 Max earns its higher price with 1,000W of solar, room to reach 6,144Wh and a 5 year warranty.
Before you order:
  1. List what has to stay on when the lights go out, with average watts and hours for each.
  2. Add them up. Under 1,400W runs on P2001 Plus EPS pass through, and up to 2,400W runs off the battery outlets.
  3. If you are staying at 2kWh, line up the P2001 Plus against other OUKITEL portable power stations at OUKITEL Power.

FAQs

Is EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max good?

Yes, for the right buyer. It pairs a 2,048Wh battery with 2,400W output, takes up to 1,000W of solar and grows to 6,144Wh with two extra batteries. It makes the most sense if your needs will grow; at a fixed 2kWh you pay for features you may never touch.

What is comparable to EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max?

The OUKITEL P2001 Plus is the closest match we know of in a P2001 Plus vs EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max comparison, with the same 2,048Wh battery, 2,400W output and 4,800W surge. It costs less and switches faster on EPS, while the EcoFlow takes more solar and can be expanded.

Can the OUKITEL P2001 Plus be expanded?

No. The P2001 Plus is sold as a single 2,048Wh unit and has no port for add on batteries. If you think you will need more storage later, OUKITEL’s BP2000 starts at the same 2,048Wh and can take up to seven B2000 packs, for 16,384Wh in total.

Which EcoFlow power station is the best value for money?

Within the 2kWh class, the DELTA 2 Max is worth its price mainly to people who will use the 1,000W solar input or buy the extra batteries. Light campers spend less on a 1kWh unit, and for fixed home backup we would price the P2001 Plus first.

What is the most reliable portable power station brand?

We don’t think any one brand earns that title across its whole range. Reliability comes down to the model in front of you: LiFePO4 cells, a cycle rating quoted to 80%, proper cooling and warranty service you can actually reach.

Which is better, Jackery or EcoFlow?

Neither brand wins everywhere. For camping we would weigh weight and fan noise first, and for home backup, output and runtime. Compare a Jackery and an EcoFlow of the same capacity and the better pick is usually obvious.

Is EcoFlow a Chinese company?

Yes, EcoFlow is a Chinese company. It was set up in 2017 and its headquarters are in Shenzhen. What matters more for a buyer is local warranty service and an authorized seller.
